Aviator Birthday Parties

We went here on a birthday party as a group of just 4 teenagers and it was an amazing experience. Great for a young pilot or anyone with an interest in aviation as the museum has great facilities, a Boeing 737 Simulator, some smaller simulators and an interactive museum. The staff are attentive and very informative, overall great for a birthday party.

Took my eldest son aged 9 to a kids party here, in place of the running around the kids had lots of fun and learned a lot about Flight and Aviation in general. Keeping a group of 9 year olds in check is not easy but the staff do such a great job keeping their young minds busy. They get to fly in their flight sims in pairs and practice all the basic flight manoeuvres.

We brought 8 children aged between 8 and 12 plus 4 adults on a birthday party here and had a ball. Very educational in a fun and fascinating way. Kids hung on our wonderful guides every word. So worth the 2 and half hour experience. Loads of wonderful photo opportunities, with very generous and informative staff. It was a great day, both for boys and girls. Kids loved dressing up in the flight suits and being able to get up close and see all the aircraft. Flight simulators were excellent and the highlight was inflating the lifevest! Definitely worth to book in advance. Thanks again to the wonderful staff there, they made the day.

To engage and enthrall 6 "hard to please" 10 year olds for a full 2 hours is no mean feat, yet the crew in Shannon Aviation Museum managed it with aplomb. The ease of booking , super-friendly telephone conversations and the helpful suggestions about bringing cake and organising take-away food from the local Supermacs, made it the easiest party ever to organise. The boys and girls were equally interested and totally excited by the simulator experience, the lifevest demonstration and the viewing of the aircraft. To top it off, they even took photos for me and emailed them on afterwards. Cannot praise the team highly enough.
