Audio Tour: The duration depends on the pace and level of interest of our customer, however the duration of the audio tour is 1 hour 15 minutes. There are 20 separate tracks – you can choose what you would like to listen to when you want to, you have full control!
Guided Tour: The duration of the Guided Tour the same as the Audio Tour at 1 hour 15 minutes. Our expert guides will be more than happy to extend this time should you have any questions to ask!
Aviation Discovery Tour: During the Aviation Discovery Tour you receive a theory of flight lesson and get to fly an aircraft on a simulator. After this, we have a guided tour of the Museum. This experience lasts approximately 2 hours / 2hrs 15 minutes on average.
No. We often get asked if we are a publicly funded museum, and the simple answer is no. While the museum has benefited greatly from state grant funds and local grant funds in recent years enabling expansion, the museum does not receive financial support from the state or any local authority.

Winter Season (Sep – Apr) We are open from 10am – 4:30pm Thursday to Saturday. Last Museum Entry is at 4pm.
Sumer Season (May – Aug) We are open from 10am – 4:30pm Wednesday to Saturday. Last Museum Entry is at 4pm.
Yes! We cater for groups of all sizes. If you are bringing a group of 15+ its best to give us a ring in advance so we can accommodate you in our schedule.

Yes! We sell Gift Cards both in-store and online.
We know what the personal touch feels like, and that’s why if you would like a custom gift card – we do it for you! Please email info@shannonaviationmuseum.com with 1. Recipient Name 2. Recipient Address & 3. Amount, and we will be more than happy to personalise it just for you.
You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Sale ID with a PDF attached. This PDF contains a QR Code which you can present at reception in either paper or digital format.
Shannon Aviation Museum has on-site parking which is free of charge.
Yes, we issue refunds for experiences when provided with no less than 24 hours notice – after this time we can not issue a refund.

You do not have to print out your PDF ticket with your unique QR Code – you can show it on your phone at reception.
Yes, the museum is wheelchair accessible.
