Shannon Aviation Museum – Taking Flight into History!

Over the summer, we are delighted to welcome the Riddett family to the Shannon Aviation Museum as part of the family-friendly Great Aviva Road Trip. We are hosting the Riddett family for a fun-filled day out, and loved taking part in the fantastic road trip around the Emerald Isle. Aviva are delighted to partner with Citroën to provide the lucky winners of The Great Aviva Road Trip 2024 with a brand-new Citroën C5 Aircross ë-Series Plug-In Hybrid for the duration of their 10 day trip to explore our beautiful island of Ireland. The prize also consists of activities including surfing, visiting fun fairs, heritage parks, adventure centres and more with car insurance provided by Aviva. 

We were excited to host the Riddett family at Shannon Aviation Museum as part of the Great Aviva Roadtrip, where aviation history truly came to life for them! Steve, an aviation enthusiast, was thrilled to explore our planes, from the Buccaneer to the Piper and Cessna, and even tried out the flight simulator. The family learned about Ireland’s aviation heritage, guided by our passionate team, and left with a newfound appreciation for the world of flight. It was a pleasure to share our love for aviation with them!
